The Birdie Belief Tour is designed to develop women and girls into competent golfers sooner by playing shortened yardages and then increasing yardage over time as a golfer's skill develops.

Player of The Year Race

For the 2019 season we have launched an added bonus of being able to accumulated points towards recognition at our closing celebration as well as a special invite for all our Player of The Year winners!

Flight Descriptions

Patty Berg Flight – A true beginner golfer. Never played or taken lessons before! Experiencing the first introduction to golf this season.

 

Marilyn Smith Flight – Beginner – Golfer has never played 9 holes before from the forward tees. Has taken lessons before but the only exposure to playing has been the Birdie Belief 9 hole events.

 

Alice Dye Flight – Golfer has played 9 holes from the forward tees but did not keep score for those 9 holes.

 

Nancy Lopez Flight – Golfer has played 18 holes and never broken 100 or played 9 holes and never broken 50.

 

Althea Gibson Flight – Golfer has played 18 holes and have broken 100 but never 95. Or has a handicap of 23 or higher.

 

Lorena Ochoa Flight -  Golfer has played 18 holes and shot 90-95 before.

 

Se Ri Pak Flight – Handicap of 10 – 19.9 or have shot scores in the 80s before.

 

Annika Sorenstam Flight – Handicap of 9.9 or lower.

 

Lydia Ko Flight – Junior golfers 18 or younger that have played no more then 2 years.

Michelle Wie Flight - Junior golfers 18 or younger that have played 2 or more years.

Playoffs

In the event of a tie, the players will go back out on to the course a play until the tie is broken from their respective yardage. If players are not able to go back onto the course, a scorecard playoff will be done starting from hole number 9 and working backwards until a winner is determined.

Prize Money

A minimum of $5.00 will be awarded for top finishes. If there are 4 people in a flight
